About Us
About us:
ARTINGREEN is a 24-month transnational Creative Europe cooperation project that connects culture, sustainability, inclusion, accessibility, wellbeing, and digital innovation. The project responds to the need for cultural and creative sectors to actively contribute to the green transition while becoming more inclusive, participatory, and accessible for diverse communities.
The project is built around an integrated model that brings together eco-art, community-based co-creation, art therapy, inclusive cultural participation, digital dissemination, and professional capacity building. It recognises that cultural projects can do more than present artistic outputs: they can support environmental learning, create spaces for social connection, strengthen community identity, promote mental wellbeing, and make public culture more accessible.
ARTINGREEN addresses several key needs identified in the project proposal, including the cultural participation gap between different groups, the need to support youth after the pandemic, the need to promote sustainable cultural heritage practices, the integration of green approaches into cultural activities, improved accessibility for people with disabilities, and the use of art as a healing and empowering tool.
The project activities are structured around research, educational framework development, community-based co-creation, eco-art installations, audio-visual accessibility tools, professional development workshops, online networking, collaborative labs, cultural showcases, multiplier events, evaluation, and sustainability planning.
By combining local action with transnational exchange, ARTINGREEN creates a European space where artists, cultural managers, educators, environmental experts, therapists, local authorities, youth organisations, and community members can collaborate. Its results are designed to be open, practical, and transferable so that other organisations can adopt and adapt the project’s methods beyond the partnership and beyond the project lifetime.
ARTINGREEN is not only a cultural project; it is a cooperation framework for making art greener, public spaces more inclusive, cultural participation more accessible, and communities more connected through shared creative action.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote sustainable, inclusive, and wellbeing-oriented cultural practices by empowering communities, artists, cultural operators, young people, and people with fewer opportunities to co-create eco-art, engage with environmental awareness, and participate actively in accessible cultural life.
Our Vision
Our vision is a Europe where art contributes to the green transition, public spaces become inclusive places of creativity and dialogue, and every person, regardless of background or ability, can experience culture as a source of connection, expression, learning, and wellbeing.
